Micro-Internships are short-term, paid, professional assignments that are similar
to those given to new hires or interns. Unlike traditional internships, Micro-Internships
can take place year-round, typically range from 5 to 40 hours of work, and are due
between one week and one month after kick-off. Companies range from those in the Fortune
100 to emerging start-ups and assignments feature departments, including sales, marketing,
technology, HR, and finance.
The Forage is a virtual work experience program that connects students to top companies
through mini work experiences. In only 5-6 hours, you learn relevant tools and develop
transferable skills by completing real industry tasks. This is free and self-paced.
No experience or application is required. At the end of each program, you receive
a certificate that can be put on your resume and your LinkedIn profile.
